How to apply
The aim of the scholarship is primarily to assist students pursuing advanced dental training at UCL Eastman Dental Institute who intend to base their long term practice in Norfolk or Suffolk. The award of £5000 is made annually, but may be deferred if there are judged to be no suitable candidates. Application is open to all postgraduates, full or part-time, studying, or who have applied to study, for an MSc or MClinDent in Endodontics, Periodontology or Prosthodontics at the Eastman. You may apply as soon as you have submitted an application for one of the above courses. The deadline for scholarship application is 31st August 2023, and a decision will be announced in the following weeks. The award will be made upon successful completion of the academic year. All applicants must currently have a qualification registered with the GDC.
Although primarily aimed at increasing the presence of specialist practitioners in Norfolk and Suffolk, consideration will be given to applicants aiming to introduce such practice to other areas of England currently lacking these services.
